The Tanglewood 2021 Popular Artists Series has been announced and the schedule is a do-over for last summer’s cancelled shows. James Taylor, Ringo Starr, Judy Collins, Brandi Carlile, and many others are back for the summer schedule!
As you are undoubtedly already aware, last year’s Tanglewood Music Festival was presented virtually. The 2020 Popular Artists Series concerts, however, were all cancelled. Sometimes, though, life offers another chance.
That’s certainly the case for last year’s Popular Artists Series, which is now this year’s! While things are still a bit uncertain, pandemic-wise, plans are coming together for live concerts on the Tanglewood campus this summer. Very good and exciting news, indeed.
We know many of you had Berkshires getaways planned around one or another of these concerts – and now you can again. Better yet, if you bought tickets to last year’s cancelled shows, your tickets are good for 2021!
The Tanglewood campus is literally ten minutes drive or less from our Berkshires bed and breakfast, The Inn at Stockbridge. No summer getaway is complete without a visit to Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Even when the concerts are over, the grounds are gorgeous and a wonderful place for a picnic.
This is also an excellent opportunity for those who couldn’t go last year, even if plans hadn’t been spoiled. Here’s your second chance! Don’t hesitate, though. Popular Artist Series tickets always sell fast and that will likely be doubly true for this year. We’re all of us very eager to get out of the house and back to some semblance of normal life!
