Hit the rails this holiday season with a special train ride through the Hoosac Valley aboard the Berkshire Scenic Railway! The restored, vintage railway is offering both their popular Tinseliner and Mistletoe & Music holiday train rides through December!

It may be hard to believe that we’re already talking about the holidays but the results are in and there’s no denying it.

Fall has arrived, Halloween has passed, and we’re officially in the holiday season through the end of the year. It is time for skiing, skating, hot cocoa, shopping, and making lasting memories with friends and family.

One truly special way to celebrate the season is with a holiday train ride through the scenic Hoosac Valley aboard the Berkshire Scenic Railway.

Hoosac Valley Train Rides

 The station is about 40 minutes north of our Berkshires bed and breakfast, The Inn at Stockbridge but the drive is lovely and goes quickly.

You’ll find lots to see and do in the Adams area and along the way, too. Mount Greylock, Greylock Glen, MASS MoCA, the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail, Herman Melville’s Arrowhead, the Berkshire Museum, Natural Bridge State Park, and more. Berkshire Scenic Railway Holiday Train Rides

Tinseliner Scenic Christmas Train Ride – November 25-27, December 3-4, 10-11, and 17-18
Step back in time with a 1950’s style Christmas aboard the Tinseliner Christmas Train! This 90-minute round trip train ride is full of cheer, with caroling and a visit from Santa. Good, old fashioned Christmas fun!

Mistletoe & Music Train – December 3, 10, and 17
Enjoy a 1 hour, BYOB and snacks holiday themed train ride with live holiday music. Sing along to holiday classics as you enjoy the cheer, snacks, and ride. Always a grand time!
