Jacob’s Pillow

Each summer the internationally-recognized Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival delights visitors with routines featuring stunning choreography that tell elaborate stories through dance. The variety of dance styles, including ballet, modern dance, and tap, speak to novice and cultivated dance fans alike. In addition to hosting dance troupes from around the world, the festival features more than 350 free performances, talks and tours, exhibits, community events and classes designed to educate and engage dance enthusiasts of all ages. While the summer 2020 season of live performances has been cancelled, our grounds are open to enjoy.

Tanglewood

A summer getaway to the Berkshires is not complete without a visit to Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and only 10 minutes from the Inn! This annual music festival runs from June through Labor Day and consists of various concerts including symphonic music, chamber music, choral music, and musical theater, as well as contemporary, jazz, and pop music. Guests return year after year to experience incredible music, gorgeous surroundings, and a festive atmosphere. 

Summer 2020 – It may be different from the last time you visited since there will not be live performances, but the beloved grounds are still here waiting to welcome you. They are offering timed entry by advanced registration. Visiting hours are Wednesdays from 9am-12pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-4pm through August 23rd. Bring a picnic and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.

Norman Rockwell Museum

The Norman Rockwell Museum is home to an amazing collection of his original artwork, as well as his studio and personal memorabilia. Explore the largest collection of original Norman Rockwell art in the world, in the luxury of the Berkshires.

2020 Visits – The museum is following all government guidelines for Covid-safe operations. All visitors and staff are required to observe the following measures: Limited tickets are available based on reduced occupancy. Reserve your tickets online in advance of your arrival. Face masks covering nose and mouth are required for visitors and staff, older than 2 years. We ask that you distance your party at least 6 feet from others. Observe capacity limits and one-way traffic flow. Where needed, yield to allow 6’ from others. Use sanitizer stations and restrooms to clean your hands often. Staff will be cleaning public areas and surfaces frequently. *Please note the museum is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
