What is Check In/Check Out Time?

Check In is at 3 pm and Check Out is 11 am. We may be able to offer an earlier check in or late check out for an additional fee. Please inquire if interested.

Do you have parking?

Yes we have complimentary parking. We have 1 assigned parking spot for each guest room. If you will be bringing more than 1 vehicle please let us know and we will direct you where to park.

Additionally, we have an electric car charger on-site.

What is Your Pet Policy?

We are delighted to welcome your canine companions to the Inn! To ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, please note the following guidelines:
There is a $40 per night fee per dog (plus tax). Dogs are welcome in eight of our specialized suites located in the Cottage and the Barn:

The Cottage: Provence, Greek Isles, Kashmir, and Out of Africa.

The Barn: Shakespeare, Wharton, Rockwell, and Melville.

On the grounds: Dogs must be on leash while outdoors. We have two dog waste stations conveniently located on the property; please help us keep the grounds clean by picking up after your pet.

Do you allow children?

Absolutely! We allow children of all ages. Children 5 years and under stay for free. The Cottage Suites and Barn Suites as well as Fox Den in the Main House are best suited for families. If requested, we do have pack ‘n plays we can put in the room.

Can more than 2 people stay in a room?

Yes, there is an additional person charge of $50 per person per day plus tax (child under 5 years old stay free).

Prior notice is necessary to place a twin airbed in the room or we can make up a sofa bed (Rockwell or Melville only) with prior notice. We can only accommodate an extra person in The Cottage Suites and the Barn Suites. Fox Den room can accommodate 4 people at no additional charge.

Do you have breakfast?

Yes, we offer a complimentary full hot breakfast daily from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Each day will feature a breakfast special, or you can always order eggs and toast.

Breakfast hours on Weekdays in the Winter/Spring may be 9am to 10am but guests will be informed in advance.

Please let us know of any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Do you serve lunch or dinner?

We do not serve lunch or dinner but have many nearby recommendations.

Do you offer any snacks or beverages throughout the day?

Absolutely! Guests can enjoy a rotating selection of treats in the dining room, including homemade cookies, granola bars, pretzels, and crackers.

For refreshments, we provide a variety of sodas and seltzers. You’ll also have 24/7 access to our Jura coffee machine, hot cocoa, and a selection of teas, along with a dedicated water and ice dispenser.

Do you have a bar or restaurant on-site?

While we do not have an on-site restaurant, we invite you to visit our cozy bar which serves artisan cocktails and gourmet snacks. Our bar is open Friday and Saturday (with expanded hours during peak season). For more details, please visit our Bar & Lounge page.

Please note: To comply with Massachusetts state law, outside alcohol is not permitted on the property.

Do you offer daily housekeeping?

To ensure your room remains a comfortable retreat, we offer daily housekeeping services throughout the peak summer months. During the quieter off season, we transition to a weekend focused housekeeping schedule. Regardless of the season, if you need fresh towels, or additional toiletries, simply let us know and we will be happy to assist.

Do you have wifi?

Yes we have complimentary wifi on the property.

What amenities do you have?

Our property has several amenities including a fitness center, pool, electric car charger, and a refrigerator in each room. The Fitness Center is open 24/7 but please be quiet during the hours between 10 pm & 9 am. We have a heated outdoor pool that is open seasonally.

What is your cancelation policy?

Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last-minute cancellation leaves us little chance of filling the reserved space. For this reason, the Inn maintains a strict cancellation policy.

Full payment is required for a one-night stay. A one night deposit is required for all other stays. Deposits will be refunded only if notice of cancellation is received 14 days prior to the intended date of arrival, and 30 days prior for bookings June through October.

For cancellations of 14 days or less (30 days for June 1st through October 31st), the guest is responsible for the full value of reservation as reserved. Guests who arrive after their intended arrival date or check out before their intended departure date are responsible for the days reserved in full.

What are the taxes and fees?

An 11.7% state and local tax, as well as a 5% service fee, are applied to the daily room rates.

Is smoking allowed at the inn?

No, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.
